OneRepublic's 'Native' was certainly a treat, as was 'Amok' by Atoms for Peace. Then, in March of 2013, Justin Timberlake unleashed 'The 20/20 Experience.' Critics hailed JT's new album as an instant classic, and fans snatched it up in stores and downloaded it online in record numbers. To call it a comeback is an understatement. Justin Timberlake wasn't the only major artist to release his first album in years: Legendary rocker David Bowie put out his first album in over a decade, 'The Next Day,' in March of 2013 too. With trippy, eerie tracks like "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," the CD was classic Bowie: a great addition to the Bowie discography, and a must for fans. How will 2013's best albums stack up? The best albums of 2012 list is pretty impressive, after all. It will be hard to top that year's stellar offerings. Will any of the 2013 releases eventually find their way on the list of the greatest albums of all time? Anything is possible where music is concerned.
