The Best Ever Grammy Winning Records
Along with Album of the Year and Song of the Year, Record of the Year is one of the best awards a musician or band can achieve during a particular calendar year. Record of the Year is not to be confused with Song of the Year or Album of the Year. The Record of the Year goes is awarded for a single or for one track from an album, which will explain why you'll see some of the best and most memorable records of a year on this Ultimate List.

Some of these songs have stood the test of time and are still popular today. Michael Jackson's "Beat It," Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to Do With It," The Eagles' "Hotel California," and Coldplay's "Clocks" are prime examples of best records that still live on. Whitney Houston's cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" ended up becoming the signature song of her career and is one of the best Record of the Year winners. Simon and Garfunkel along with Eric Clapton and U2 are three examples of musicians who have won the Grammy for Best Record the Year twice.

Vote for the song you think deserves is the Grammy Foundation's best selection for Record of the Year. All of these winners have already taken home one of the biggest Grammys and now it's up to you decide which one is the best of the lot.
