The Best of Queen

These are the very best songs by the British rock band Queen, who ruled the charts around the world in the late '70's and early '80's, and whose impact can still be heard on rock 'n' roll today.  Featuring four very talented musicians and songwriters: guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon, drummer Roger Taylor, and one of rock's greatest vocalists, the inimitable Freddie Mercury. Queen gradually established themselves among rock's elite with a catalog rivaled by few.  Help select the very best all-time Queen songs by watching the videos below and voting, or even ranking them with your own list.

Fat Bottomed Girls
Cool and campy, and with a hard rock riff to die for, this was Queen to a tee in the '70's.  This one was from 1978's Jazz.
You're My Best Friend
A terrific track and big hit from Queen's 1975 masterpiece A Night at the Opera, written by John Deacon.
Another One Bites The Dust
John Deacon wrote this disco-infused international megahit for the 1980 album, The Game.
Don't Stop Me Now
Freddie Mercury's coming out party and a concert highlight since 1978.
Somebody to Love
Freddy Mercury wrote this hit single from 1976's A Day at the Races showcasing the band's excellent vocal harmonization, unrivaled in hard rock.
Bohemian Rhapsody
The greatest rock opera actually blends hard rock with operatic vocals to achieve a transcendent affect unequaled in hard rock.  This song shot Queen to the top of the charts and 1975, and they stayed there for many years to come.
Bicycle Race
Yes, it's the infamous banned nude girl bicycle race video, that was almost never seen when this song was in the Top Ten in 1979, from the Jazz LP.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
This throwback rockabilly hit from The Game went to #1 in 1980.
Under Pressure
This combined effort with megastar David Bowie was a huge international hit in 1981.  It was written by the band's secret songwriting weapon, bassist John Deacon, and brought together two of rock's all-time best vocalist on one fantastic song.
We Will Rock You / We Are the Champions
Consider these two separate songs from 1977's News of the World if you prefer (the former by Brian May, the later by Freddie Mercury) but for me, they are inexorably linked as THE GREATEST stadium rock anthem of all-time.  Try going to an English football game, or even an American football game, without this being played or breaking out in the stands, crowds stomping the infamous drum beat and singing along.  Simply perfect!
