Netflix is gearing up to launch Marvel's TV universe in a big way. Yes, they have "Agents of SHIELD;" yes, they also have "Agent Carter" gearing up. But where are the superheroes?
Netflix is bringing us not one, not two, but FOUR new original series featuring characters that eventually gather up into the rag-tag team known as "The Defenders." It's a great move to sum up years of comic books with 10, hour-long episodes, instead of just throwing a bunch of characters into a single, 2-hour movie (looking at you, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice).
So who should play Luke Cage? Iron Fist? Jessica Jones? Daredevil? (We know they already cast Daredevil, and he's included here, but we want your votes as to whether or not they cast him right!) Vote up your favorite casting choice!

Cam Gigandet
As Iron Fist:
This guy was born to play Iron Fist. He's an incredible fighter, he's in insane shape, and he has the look of Danny Rand.
Idris Elba
As Luke Cage:
Idris Elba should play everyone. He's a beast, he loves comics, and he has a loyal following. If they can make the Luke Cage show half of what Luther is, it'll be one of the best things on Netflix ever.
Jaimie Alexander
As Jessica Jones:
She's already Sif (and great as her) but it would be great to have her sink her teeth into a leading role for 10 or 13 hour-long episodes. She's got the look, the talent, and certainly has the physicality.
Jena Malone
As Jessica Jones:
She started her career playing sweet girls with an edge, and she's developed into a woman who plays edgy girl who... might be sweet. She'd be perfect for the future Mrs. Luke Cage.
Jennifer Carpenter
As Jessica Jones:
The "Dexter" alum hasn't really gotten the chance to flex her acting muscles on any other characters yet. She's played a really versatile and multi-faceted cop (especially in the questionable later seasons) and has a great comic look.
Jessica Biel
As Jessica Jones:
She's incredibly fit, she has a strong maternal-ness without losing her badassery, and could use a Blade Trinity-like role that isn't in Blade Trinity.
Ryan Gosling
As Daredevil:
The most ambitious of the list by far. He's talented, charming, and a solid, physical actor. He's never signed on to a Superhero franchise, and I can think of no one better for baby goose than Daredevil.
Ryan Kwanten
As Daredevil:
A noted comic fan with the following, the physique, and chops to pull off The Man without Fear.
Scott Porter
As Iron Fist:
He's got the build, the physicality, and the cult following. This guy needs to be a superhero already.
Michael C Hall
As Daredevil:
This guy was born to play Daredevil – the coloring, the look, the voice, the physicality – it's all there with Hall. Daredevil is a dark hero that deals with the scum of Hell's kitchen. Michael C Hall's inherent darkness would lend itself perfectly.
