Created by Roy Thomas and Gene Colan, Carol Danvers made her first appearance in 1968 and debuted as Ms. Marvel in 1977. She featured in her own self-titled series before becoming associated with teams like The Avengers. It's been recently announced that Carol Danvers, now using the name Captain Marvel, would be one of the Phase 3 films in the MCU. It won't be released until 2018, so there's still plenty of time before they have to worry about casting; but I wonder who should play her?
